I used Google9s Teachable Machine which is a
free Google Labs app. It encourages you to use
machine learning to train the program to
identify objects and sounds. It is useful because
it does not require you to code. I used pencils
and pens as my objects. I found that the more
samples I gave it, the more certain it became. I
created a sample of about 450 images each
time, but when trained the machine still
struggled to accurately identify a pencil. It also
does not always get it right, for example it
couldn9t figure out if I was wearing glasses or
