I made a game called Pong for two players. In fact, I
made it twice since the first one was fone player only
and I want to play with friends and it is too easy for me
so I made a harder two-player Pong Game. I chose this
game because I had only done a little bit of coding when
I was really small and just kind of forgot everything I did
before so this was just right for me. In the game there is
a ball that bounces off two boards on either side of the
screen. The backdrop in my game just stays black
throughout the game. The ball bounces from side to
side and if you miss the ball the opposite side gets one
point. You can finish whenever you want, just press the
stop button. I really liked it because it was pretty easy.
The problem was when or I was coding it was the ball
kept going through the right paddle instead of bouncing
off the board.
I am Chinese and was born in Wuhan. I have just moved
to Milbourne Lodge. I lived in China for seven years and
Switzerland for three years. I have just turned eleven. I
have lots of hobbies like horse riding, piano, and tennis.
But I like reading the most because there is always a
different story in every book, I don9t really have a
favourite book though because I like all the books I read
because they are all very interesting. At home, I speak
Chinese with my mum, but I also speak English, and
some French. (Leyan)

This game is inspired by the 8No Internet9 game on
Google Chrome. The game shows a pixelated dinosaur
in an infinite background. This game is infinite, and the
goal is to stay alive by jumping over the cactuses by
pressing the space button. The cactuses are spawned
randomly.
I enjoyed how challenging this is. Even so, this code took
a long time, spreading over many lessons. When I
followed a tutorial video, I struggled to keep up with the
speed. My main problem though was to do wtih
technology: my lap-top randomly shutting down and
lagging. Sometimes my sound doesn9t work, and all of
this takes up about a quarter of my time that was
supposed to be spent coding.
I still have missing properties, including the score board
and the GAME OVER sign. I didn9t have time to add in all
these things, so I left it as a simpler version. When the
game stops, part of the ground disappears, making it
very unnatural. I also didn9t add in the clouds for the
background, or the birds for the Dino to duck under.
Even with all these missing properties, I feel like I did an
amazing job on the game (Natalie)
