We always enjoy welcoming our new Year 3 pupils who arrive with boundless enthusiasm and
wonderful ideas for us to explore and develop in Art & IT. In both our subjects pupils are taught
the foundations essential for their creative years ahead.
CODING AND
TOUCH
TYPING
Touch typing is an essential skill. To
encourage pupils not to look at the keys
whilst using the Nessy Fingers typing
program, we designed cardboard bridges to
cover their hands. Block coding is taught
using the Turing Tumble (a marble powered
computer) and the Intelino Smart Trains.
