SCRATCH
CODING
YEAR 4
By Year 4, pupils are showing varying degrees of
experience and interest in coding. Many enjoy
coding at home, some belong to external clubs or
attend holiday camps, whilst others explore
additional programming languages with their
families. In school, we have been using the
Scratch block-based coding this term to create a
series of different games. Some pupils have set
up their own 8studios9 - spaces where they can
collaborate on their own projects.
