THE LEAVERS’ YEARBOOK
With exams (Scholarship, Common Entrance
and Milbourne Exit) on the agenda during
the Summer term , there is just time for one
final IT project for Year 8 pupils and that is
the Leavers’ Yearbook.
Quite a few pupils have been with us at
Milbourne Lodge since Reception, and they
do enjoy trawling through their early photos
to appreciate how much they have grown
and changed over the years.
The Yearbook is a unique project because
pupils build it themselves in Canva, choosing
the features they want to include, and
adding heir final Art projects.
We can include events that take place until
a fortnight before the end of term. Then, the
camera-ready digital artwork is sent to the
printers.
The finished yearbooks are collected from
the printers on the last day of term, and an
individual copy is presented to each Year 8
Leaver on Speech Day.
