Caijiro Clarke - Japanese Grandparents
Background Information:
My grandparents were born in
the Kumamoto Prefecture in
Japan. It was where one of the
atomic bombs dropped by the
Americans was supposed to be
dropped. Luckily, the day was too
cloudy, and the Americans were
not able to plot where to drop
the bomb. They proceeded
instead to Nagasaki which is the
neighbouring prefecture to
Kumamoto. This enabled my
grandparents to have my mother
and in turn meant I can write this
today.
