IT MICROSOFT APPS
Having spent the first term learning the basics of
how we teach Art & IT at Milbourne Lodge, during
the Spring term pupils have been able to apply their
new skills to a range of different media in Art and
more challenging applications in IT
INTRO TO
EXCEL
Word, Excel and Powerpoint are
the three Microsoft apps
introduced to pupils in Year 3
To introduce Excel in a userfriendly and fun way, pupils have
learnt some shortcuts and then
created Pixel Art.
They become competent at
selecting, highlighting, filling and
deleting cells and using cell
references to navigate the
spreadsheet
